The Thermo Scientific Sorvall X4F Pro-MD Centrifuge is a high-performance and versatile floor model centrifuge designed for a wide range of general laboratory applications. The intuitive touchscreen interface simplifies programming and provides convenient access to operating controls and system status. With speeds up to 15,200 rpm and a maximum RCF of 25,830 x g, depending on the rotor, the X4F Pro-MD provides the performance needed for both routine processing and more demanding separations. Its floor-standing design saves valuable bench space, while lockable casters make the centrifuge easier to position, store, and move for cleaning.
The X4F Pro-MD also utilizes Thermo Scientific Auto-Lock Rotor Exchange, allowing secure push-button installation and removal of compatible rotors without tools. Compatibility with up to 18 unique rotor options provides flexibility for laboratories with changing application requirements, while full chamber access simplifies routine cleaning. SMARTSpin imbalance technology optimizes acceleration, braking, and residual load imbalance for each rotor and bucket configuration, helping improve run-to-run reproducibility. The system also incorporates energy-saving functionality designed to reduce energy consumption on common laboratory protocols while maintaining dependable centrifugation performance.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
