Thermo Scientific Savant SPD1010-115 SpeedVac Concentrator
The Thermo Scientific Savant SPD1010-115 SpeedVac Concentrator is a complete system for solvent evaporation, sample concentration, and drying. The SPD system uses a patented technique that combines centrifugal force, vacuum, and applied heat to eliminate sample bumping and foaming. The application of thermal energy to the sample during concentration counteracts the natural evaporative cooling effect that slows the drying rate.
This complete system integrates an oil-free vacuum and a refrigerated vapor trap into a single compact package. The SPD1010 features a small chamber capable of processing up to 4 x 500ml samples. This concentrator also features an advanced front panel with a dual timer for automatic or manual control of run conditions.
