- Phase contrast capability enhances visualization of transparent and unstained specimens
- Binocular viewing head with integrated photo tube supports both direct observation and photomicrography
- BI/PHOT changeover mechanism allows the optical path to be switched between binocular viewing and photography
- CFWE 10XA/18 eyepieces provide a wide field of view for routine specimen observation
- Mechanical stage controls provide precise positioning of specimens during observation
- Adjustable interpupillary distance accommodates individual viewing preferences
- Diopter adjustment allows independent focusing to accommodate differences between the user's eyes
- Adjustable condenser system supports proper illumination and phase contrast alignment
- Revolving objective nosepiece provides convenient switching between installed objectives

The Nikon TMS-F Inverted Phase Contrast Microscope is designed for routine observation of living cells, tissue cultures, and other transparent specimens in culture vessels. Its inverted optical configuration allows specimens to remain in their culture containers, while phase contrast enhances the visibility of transparent, unstained samples. The system incorporates a revolving objective nosepiece, adjustable condenser system, mechanical stage controls, interpupillary adjustment, and individual diopter adjustment for precise and comfortable observation.
Unlike the standard TMS, the TMS-F incorporates an integrated photo tube and optical changeover system for photomicrography, allowing the optical path to be switched between direct observation and photography. This added imaging capability makes the TMS-F well suited for routine culture monitoring, specimen evaluation, and image documentation.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
