Corning PC-400D Digital Hot Plate
The Corning PC-400D Hot Plate features a digital LED temperature display, a 5 x 7 in glass-ceramic platform, and a microprocessor-based temperature control unit that reaches temperatures from 5 to 550°C. This hotplate is used by researchers and professionals to heat a variety of liquids and solutions in chemistry, food and beverage, biology, and lab applications.
All of our equipment will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

Hot Plate Stirrers Inspection and Recertification Checklist
- Inspect Display and Replace Any Dim/Dead Pixels (If Applicable).
- Inspect Ceramic Top for Any Cracks and Replace If Necessary.
- Inspect Functionality of All Buttons/Knobs.
- Use Magnetic Stir Bar Alongside NIST Tachometer to Confirm RPM of Internal Motor (If Applicable).
- Inspect Internal Wiring Inside Case.
- Clean Internal Parts and Vent Any Internal Debris.
- Check Feet to Confirm Plate Sits Properly Balanced.
- Replace All Parts That Were Removed on Internal Inspections.
- Confirm Temperature with NIST Traceable Temperature Probe (If Applicable).
- Ensure Cosmetics Are Acceptable.
