The Cole Parmer SH-200D-R-L Orbital Shaker, Cat. #51901-03 is a durable laboratory shaker designed for reliable continuous operation across extraction, mixing, and general sample preparation applications. The unit provides a linear reciprocating shaking motion with a 20 mm amplitude and variable speed range from 25 to 250 RPM. Microprocessor-controlled digital speed adjustment helps maintain consistent shaking performance throughout extended runs, while its quiet operation makes the SH-200D-R-L well suited for routine laboratory environments.

Designed for versatile laboratory use, the SH-200D-R-L can accommodate a variety of flasks, bottles, beakers, and other common laboratory vessels. A built-in digital timer allows shaking periods from 1 to 999 minutes, with an audible alert upon completion, while continuous operation is available for longer workflows. The shaker supports loads up to 10 kg and can also be operated within compatible environmental chambers and CO₂ incubators.

• Measure and adjust motor drive belt tension to optimal specifications, securing reliable and efficient power transmission
• Verify accuracy of the onboard timer, confirming proper functionality and replacing if it deviates from expected performance
• Calibrate shaker rotation speed with a NIST-traceable tachometer, validating precision within specified operational limits
• Run the shaker continuously for an 8-12 hour testing period, closely observing the shaking platform for smooth, consistent motion, while monitoring for any error indicators such as knocking, skipping, or unusual vibrations
