The BT Lab Systems BT921 Incubator Shaker combines controlled incubation and orbital shaking in a compact benchtop instrument, providing a convenient solution for laboratory applications requiring both precise temperature control and consistent agitation. Designed for cell culture, fermentation, hybridization, biochemistry, and enzyme and cell tissue research, the BT921 can be used to cultivate microbial cells and a variety of strains while reducing the need for separate incubation and shaking equipment
Microprocessor controls manage both temperature and shaking speed, while an integrated timing function supports controlled experimental workflows. The system is designed for smooth startup to help prevent liquid from spilling and incorporates an adjustable circulation fan to promote uniform temperature conditions. A wide-opening cover provides convenient access and visibility, while an integrated cover switch automatically stops air circulation, heating, and shaking when the cover is opened. Additional protection is provided by an independent temperature alarm system that shuts off heating if the temperature exceeds the set limit, along with an audible alarm when a programmed run is complete
The BT921 utilizes a maintenance-free brushless DC motor designed for long service life and low-noise operation. This unit is supplied with the BT909-C Universal Platform with Adjustable Bars, while additional optional platforms are available to accommodate different laboratory applications

- Conduct a final cosmetic inspection to verify all surfaces meet appearance standards.
