The BioTek ELx808IU Absorbance Microplate Reader provides accurate and repeatable absorbance measurements for 96-well microplates across a variety of laboratory assays. Designed for applications including ELISAs, endotoxin testing, enzymatic activity, bacterial growth studies, and fast kinetic assays, the ELx808IU combines reliable optical performance with flexible plate-reading capabilities. The reader supports endpoint, kinetic, and linear scan modes, with linear well scanning providing added functionality for applications such as agglutination assays. Its staggered optical design helps eliminate channel-to-channel crosstalk, while an onboard diagnostic self-test allows users to verify and document instrument performance. The ELx808IU also incorporates temperature control and shaking functionality, expanding its capabilities for assays requiring controlled incubation and sample mixing.
With onboard software supporting up to 55 user-defined programs and Gen5 compatibility, the ELx808IU provides a straightforward platform for routine plate analysis while supporting efficient, repeatable laboratory workflows.
