The Benchmark H6004 Incu-Mixer Heated Microplate Mixer combines controlled incubation and vortex mixing in a single compact instrument designed for microplate-based laboratory workflows. The four-plate configuration accommodates standard microplates, including plates up to 46 mm high, allowing multiple samples to be processed simultaneously. Independent controls for mixing speed, temperature, and time allow the H6004 to function as a multi-plate incubator, vortexer, or as a combined heated mixing system depending on the application.
Heating is applied from both the bottom surface and lid to promote uniform temperatures throughout the samples. The heated lid also helps minimize evaporation and prevent condensation during incubation. A compact 2 mm mixing orbit provides thorough microplate mixing while reducing the potential for splashing, and a large LCD continuously displays speed, temperature, and time. An internal validation system monitors operating parameters for accuracy throughout operation.
The H6004 is well suited for molecular biology workflows requiring consistent incubation and mixing, including immunochemical reactions, enzyme and protein analysis, and microarray analysis.
