Agilent G6410B Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System
The Agilent G6410B Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System is a liquid chromatograph triple quadrupole mass spectrometer that performs MS/MS using three sets of parallel rods. The first quadrupole separates ions into precursor ions that are fragmented in the hexapole into product ions, which are separated by the second quadrupole. The fragments are then scanned through the third quadrupole resulting in a product-ion scan MS/MS, allowing the user to identify a compound's fingerprint. Within the Agilent G6410B Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System is the use of a glass, dielectric "cold" capillary that enhances desolvation and improves the focusing of high mass ions while minimizing chemical noise, as well as improving general ion focusing.
The Agilent G6410B Triple Quadruple LC/MS System features a mass range of 15 to 1,650 m/z, mass accuracy of < 0.1 u over 24 hours, and three different peak width settings (FWHM). This system also features an MS/MS sensitivity with a signal-to-noise ratio of > 20:1 at 5 x RMS, measured by injecting 0.5 pg of reserpine onto the column. The 6410 LC/MS achieves sensitivity and resolution specifications after autotune without manual user intervention. The G6410B can also be paired with Agilent's 1260 and 1290 Series LC modules, to deliver sensitive, reproducible analyses of target compounds in complex matrices.
The Agilent G6410B Triple Quadrupole LC/MS System can be controlled from the Agilent MassHunter Workstation Software, which allows for programs to run in data acquisition, qualitative analysis, and quantitative analysis for an all-in-one software bundle.
This Agilent system is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory
specifications before being shipped.
