The VWR Advanced Dura-Shaker CO2 Resistant Digital Orbital Shaker is designed for demanding applications, including cell cultures requiring CO₂ and humidity for optimal growth. Built to withstand extreme environments, including 100% humidity conditions, this shaker is ideal for use inside CO₂ incubators and other controlled settings. Its remote control module, equipped with a 5.5-foot (168 cm) thin ribbon cable, allows convenient operation from outside the incubator, attaching magnetically to most incubator doors or sitting on a lab bench.
Equipped with the Accu-Drive™ shaking system, the Dura-Shaker delivers precise speed control, maintaining accuracy within ±1 rpm below 100 rpm and ±1% above 100 rpm. Microprocessor control ensures uniform shaking, while the powerful triple eccentric drive and brushless DC motor support continuous-duty operation with a maximum load of 35 lbs (15.9 kg). The user-friendly touchpad interface provides independent LED displays for speed and time, ensuring clear visibility across lab benches. Additional features include RS232 interface for data logging and unit control, an adjustable speed calibration mode, and audible/visual alerts in case of obstruction. Compatible with multiple platform configurations, the Dura-Shaker adapts to various laboratory needs, from flask clamps to separatory funnel platforms.
