VWR CO2 Water Jacketed Incubator, Cat. #: 10810-878
The VWR CO2 Water Jacketed Incubator, Cat. #: 10810-878 combines precise CO2 control with temperature control from Ambient +5°C to 55°C and provides users with selection, performance and quality needed in today’s cell culture laboratories. With its precise CO2 control, elevated RH, and an IR (Infrared) sensor for monitoring when humidity and temperature are less predictable, the VWR CO2 Water Jacketed Incubator becomes an excellent choice for many researchers. These incubators feature unsurpassed temperature stability and superior parameter recovery characteristics, with innovative continuous contamination control technology. The 6.5 cu. ft. (184.1L) high-capacity chamber provides outstanding culturing space and features a unique triple wall construction, providing an outstanding temperature uniformity ± 0.3°C at 37°C. The VWR CO2 Water Jacketed Incubator features in-chamber HEPA air filtration, which continuously filters the entire chamber volume every 60 seconds. The 100% HEPA filtration quickly achieves ISO Class 5 (Class 100) cleanroom air quality in only 5 minutes after a door opening. The HEPA filter entraps particulate air contaminants and prevents their escape, and filter efficiency increases as particulates and micro-organisms are entrapped. Temperature retention and quick recovery are especially important for researchers working with critical cell cultures. The VWR CO2 Water Jacketed Incubator provides maximum thermal protection and quick recovery from swings in ambient temperature and power variations. All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Inspect the display for any dim, flickering, or dead pixels, replacing any affected areas to maintain full readability and operational clarity
- Thoroughly examine external regulators for any signs of damage, wear, or malfunction (if applicable), replacing any compromised parts
- Inspect temperature, CO₂, and H₂O sensors (if applicable), ensuring each sensor is functioning correctly and accurately reporting conditions
- Conduct a detailed inspection of all internal wiring for frays, tears, or breakages; replace any compromised wires to ensure safe and reliable connections
- Verify that software settings align with the internal components and calibration specifications, adjusting configurations as needed for accurate operation
- Inspect and clean the fan, ensuring it is free from dust or obstructions; replace if performance is below required standards
- Examine wheels and leveling mounts for structural integrity, ensuring proper balance and stability for safe operation
- Inspect door gaskets and latches for any signs of wear or damage, replacing if necessary to maintain a secure seal and optimal environmental control
- Calibrate temperature accuracy at 37°C using a NIST-traceable probe, confirming it meets required tolerances
- Calibrate CO₂ level to 5% using a Fyrite combustion test kit (if applicable), ensuring precise atmospheric conditions
- Monitor temperature and CO₂ stability over a 24-hour period, verifying consistent operation within specified ranges
- Conduct a thorough cosmetic inspection to confirm all external surfaces and components meet quality standards, free from visible damage or wear
