The Thermo Scientific Thermal Mixer w/ 1.5ml Block, Cat. #: 13687711 provides mixing and temperature control of samples in micro test tubes or PCR plates with corresponding blocks. The features of this thermal mixer meet the highest expectations of users according to many parameters, including fast reaching of specified mixing speeds from 250 to 1,400 RPM and stability of maintaining the set temperature in a range from Ambient -15°C to 100°C through the block surface.
With the help of the temperature calibration function, the user can calibrate the unit approximately ± 6% of the selected temperature to compensate for any differences in the thermal behavior of tubes from varying manufacturers. An LCD display is also featured, which indicates pre-set and current values of temperature, speed, and time of operation. Functions of heating and mixing can be performed either simultaneously or independently as well.
