- Rotor chamber and housing constructed with steel plates while the front panel is made of high-impact resistant plastic.
- Centrifuge lid is equipped with a view port and a lock.
- The integrated rotor detection systems ensures that no inadmissible speed settings can be preselected.
- Electronic imbalance recognition.
- Maintenance-free induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation at high speeds.
Thermo Scientific Sorvall Legend XFR Refrigerated Centrifuge
The Thermo Sorvall Legend XFR Refrigerated Centrifuge
features a maximum speed of 15,200 RPM (fixed Angle rotor) and a maximum relative
centrifugal force of 25,314 times gravity as well as a temperature range of -10 C to +40 C. An onboard LCD display makes reading
information easy and entering parameters a breeze. The XFR has a maximum timer
run time of 99 hours and 59 minutes and also offers the ability to run indefinitely.
With a maximum capacity of 4 x 1000 milliliters, the Sorvall Legend XFR offers
an extremely high throughput. With
advanced sound-reducing technology, the XFR features a quiet running
noise level, making it the perfect centrifuge for both smaller and larger labs.
We may have different adapters available depending on the rotor chosen with this centrifuge. If the selected rotor includes adapters that will not work for your application, please inquire.
Please confirm the selected rotor meets your application needs and request a different rotor, if necessary. Available rotors can be found in our
Rotor Compatibility Guide.
The Thermo Scientific Sorvall Legend XFR Refrigerated Centrifuge includes:
- > Rotor Selected Above
- > NIST Centrifuge Calibration and Preventative Maintenance Report
- > Power Cord
- > Full 180 Day Parts and Labor Warranty
