The Thermo Scientific Megafuge 40R Refrigerated Centrifuge is a benchtop centrifuge designed with the user in mind.
The user-friendly control panel makes it easy to pre-set the speed, RCF value, running time, temperature, and running profile. The set speed is reached within seconds. The Megafuge 40 can reach maximum speeds of 15,200 RPM and maximum RCF of 25,314 x g and has a t emperature range from -10 to +40C. The maintenance-free induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation even at high speeds, and guarantees a very long lifetime. We may have different adapters available depending on the rotor chosen with this centrifuge. If the selected rotor includes adapters that will not work for your application, please inquire.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Measure and verify voltages at PCB test points to ensure accurate power delivery and circuit integrity
- Confirm rotor compatibility with the centrifuge model and check that rotor detection systems recognize the rotor type
- Inspect the exterior for any cosmetic or structural damage that could affect performance or safety
- Check the door mechanism alignment to ensure secure and smooth opening and closing
- Inspect and replace the gas strut with an OEM part to maintain proper door support and safety
