The Thermo Scientific Heraeus Megafuge 16R Refrigerated Centrifuge is a refrigerated centrifuge designed with the user in mind. The user-friendly control panel makes it easy to pre-set the speed, RCF value, running time, temperature, and running profile. The set speed is reached within seconds. The Megafuge 16R can reach maximum speeds of 15,200 RPM and maximum RCF of 25,830 x g. The maintenance-free induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation even at high speeds, and guarantees a very long lifetime. We may have different adapters available depending on the rotor chosen with this centrifuge. If the selected rotor includes adapters that will not work for your application, please inquire.
