Thermo Scientific Megafuge 16 Centrifuge
Maximum Speed 15,200 RPM (25,830 x g RCF)
Weight without Rotor 57.5 kg
- The Heraeus Megafuge 16 is an in-vitro diagnostics device according to the In-Vitro Diagnostics Directive 98/79/EC.
- The maintenance-free induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation even at high speeds, and guarantees a very long lifetime. It also ensures the set speed is reached within seconds.
- A user-friendly control panel makes it easy to pre-set the speed, RCF value, running time, temperature, and running profile (9 acceleration and 10 braking curves).
- Integrated rotor detection systems ensures that no inadmissible speed settings can be preselected.
- The electronic imbalance recognition ensures any imbalance will be indicated a speed higher than 300RPM and the run will terminate automatically.
The Thermo Scientific Heraeus Megafuge 16 Centrifuge is a refrigerated centrifuge designed with the user in mind. The user-friendly control panel makes it easy to pre-set the speed, RCF value, running time, and running profile. The set speed is reached within seconds. The Megafuge 16 can reach maximum speeds of 15,200 RPM and maximum RCF of 25,830 x g. The maintenance-free induction motor ensures quiet and low-vibration operation even at high speeds, and guarantees a very long lifetime. We may have different adapters available depending on the rotor chosen with this centrifuge. If the selected rotor includes adapters that will not work for your application, please inquire.
All of our equipment is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
The Thermo Scientific Megafuge 16 Centrifuge includes:
