Thermo Scientific MaxQ 8000 Refrigerated Incubator Shaker
The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 8000 Refrigerated Incubator Shaker is a stackable orbital shaker that provides an ideal solution for both sensitive cultures and traditional "hard shake" applications in incubated and refrigerated environments from Ambient -20ºC to 60ºC. This refrigerated incubator shaker features a heavy-duty, eccentric drive mechanism that allows for extended speed ranges from 25 to 400 RPM with minimal vibration, even when shakers are stacked three high. A triple counterbalanced mechanism provides optimum handling of full or unbalanced loads, regardless of flask placement. A slide-out platform is included and features a large mounting surface area and is secured to ensure smooth and stable motion. The MaxQ 8000 also features a horizontal HEPA filter airflow design that ensures that interior air remains clean and reduces the threat of cross-contamination for improved culturing conditions.
The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 8000 Refrigerated Incubator Shaker utilizes a microprocessor control/monitoring system which allows for intuitive icon-based programming and operation. A two-line, 40 character message/information center provides continuous updates of setpoint, actual time, speed, and temperature. Audible/visual over and under temperature tracking alarms ensure product protection. The microprocessor tracks total accumulated time on motor and drive systems, and the memory saves all settings during power outages, restoring operation and settings when power is returned. Controlled acceleration significantly reduces wetting of flask closure and splashing. An RS-232 port is also standard on the MaxQ 8000. Specially designed for facilities seeking high capacity shakers but lacking the space to accommodate larger floor models, these units may be stacked up to three units high for three times the capacity of a single unit in nearly the same footprint.
The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 8000 Refrigerated Incubator Shaker includes:
- > 30" x 18" Platform
- > New HEPA Filter
- > NIST Calibration and Preventative Maintenance Report
- > Power Cord
- > Operator's Manual
- > Full 180 Day Parts and Labor Warranty
