The Thermo Scientific MaxQ 4000 combines orbital shaking technology with benchtop design for a versatile shaker ideal for cell culture, solubility studies, extraction procedures, protein expression, and many other applications. The MaxQ 4000 features shaking speeds from 40 to 400 RPM around a 0.75 inch orbit with a temperature range of 10C above ambient to 60C. Spacious 18 x 18 inch platform allows for higher vessel capacity for up to six 2L flasks. The MaxQ 4000's clear, scratch-resistant lid allows for unobstructed sample viewing without disturbing the chamber. PID temperature controller provides 0.1C temperature accuracy at 37C, and an independent over temperature feature provides a backup temperature controller for added safety. This incubator shaker will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Calibrate internal temperature accuracy using an NIST-traceable temperature probe.
- Measure and calibrate platform RPMs with an NIST-traceable tachometer to ensure precision.
- Conduct a final cosmetic inspection to verify all surfaces meet appearance standards.
