Thermo Scientific Heratherm IMP 180 Refrigerated Incubator
The Thermo Scientific Heratherm IMP 180 Refrigerated Incubator is a state-of-the-art laboratory instrument designed to meet the precise needs of sample incubation within a temperature range of 5°C to 70°C. It utilizes advanced Peltier technology, which is notable for its energy efficiency, especially in the moderate temperature range of +15°C to +25°C, allowing up to 84% energy savings compared to traditional compressor units. This technology also ensures minimal vibration, enhancing sample integrity and promoting uniform temperature distribution with a stability of ± 0.1°C at 37°C and uniformity of ± 0.5°C at 37°C. The incubator boasts an environmentally friendly design, free from hazardous refrigerants and substances, and features CFC/HFC-free polyurethane insulation foam for excellent temperature performance and condensation prevention.
The unit is equipped with a heated door with intelligent energy control to prevent condensation, even at low temperatures, and a sophisticated timer function for weekly, daily, or real-time mode, alongside intuitive programmability for temperature ramping, soaking, cooling, and dwelling, with the ability to store up to 10 programs. Safety and convenience are paramount, with adjustable over-temperature shut-off, safe viewing through an internal glass door, and an automatic over and under temperature alarm. The stainless-steel interior with rounded corners and a flexible, non-tip shelf system ensures easy cleaning and optimal loading. The compact design maximizes lab space efficiency without compromising on capacity, offering 6.3 cu. ft. (178L) of volume. The Heratherm IMP 180's intuitive user interface, including PID control with fault analysis, easy push-button calibration, and a clear vacuum fluorescent display, makes it an ideal choice for refined incubation needs in modern laboratories. All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Inspect the display for any dim, flickering, or dead pixels, replacing any affected areas to maintain full readability and operational clarity
- Thoroughly examine external regulators for any signs of damage, wear, or malfunction (if applicable), replacing any compromised parts
- Inspect temperature, CO₂, and H₂O sensors (if applicable), ensuring each sensor is functioning correctly and accurately reporting conditions
- Conduct a detailed inspection of all internal wiring for frays, tears, or breakages; replace any compromised wires to ensure safe and reliable connections
- Verify that software settings align with the internal components and calibration specifications, adjusting configurations as needed for accurate operation
- Inspect and clean the fan, ensuring it is free from dust or obstructions; replace if performance is below required standards
- Examine wheels and leveling mounts for structural integrity, ensuring proper balance and stability for safe operation
- Inspect door gaskets and latches for any signs of wear or damage, replacing if necessary to maintain a secure seal and optimal environmental control
- Calibrate temperature accuracy at 37°C using a NIST-traceable probe, confirming it meets required tolerances
- Calibrate CO₂ level to 5% using a Fyrite combustion test kit (if applicable), ensuring precise atmospheric conditions
- Monitor temperature and CO₂ stability over a 24-hour period, verifying consistent operation within specified ranges
- Conduct a thorough cosmetic inspection to confirm all external surfaces and components meet quality standards, free from visible damage or wear
