Thermo Scientific Heating Digital Shaking Drybath with 1.5/2.0ml Block, Cat. #: 88880027
The Thermo Scientific Heating Digital Shaking Drybath, Cat. #: 88880027, offers a combination of drybath and shaker functionalities. With a speed range of 150 to 1,500 RPM (150 to 1,200 RPM with included block), it can handle different block types, affecting the maximum RPM achievable. Its temperature capabilities range from Ambient +5°C to 100°C, maintaining a uniformity of ± 0.5°C and stability of ± 0.15°C at 80°C. The unit features a PID control system for consistent shaking and accurate temperature regulation. It can store over 10 programs with up to 10 steps each, and offers an interval shaking function, enabling both shaking and stationary modes in the same program. Timing can be initiated immediately or once the desired temperature is reached. Designed for flexibility, it supports easily interchangeable blocks of various sizes.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Confirm stability and accuracy of power supply and PCB voltage outputs
- Inspect display integrity, ensuring pixel clarity and replacing any degraded or non-functional elements
- Verify complete functionality and responsiveness of all control buttons, switches, and knobs
- Conduct thorough inspection of internal wiring and all electrical connections for continuity; replace or secure any degraded or substandard components
- Examine block holder platform for alignment, obstructions, or error-inducing irregularities
- Perform detailed inspection of motor bearings, assessing for wear or misalignment, and replace if performance deviates from specifications
- Calibrate rotational speed precisely using a NIST-traceable tachometer for compliance with operational standards
- Calibrate temperature accuracy using a NIST-traceable temperature probe, validating readings across the operational range
- Ensure timer precision by validating functionality and consistency against set parameters
- Conduct a comprehensive cosmetic inspection, verifying all surfaces and external components meet quality standards
