Thermo Savant SpeedVac SC110 Concentrator
The Thermo Savant SpeedVac SC110 Concentrator is a state-of-the-art centrifugal vacuum concentrator designed for rapid evaporation of liquids to concentrate or dry various solutes and residues in both aqueous and organic solvents. Its innovative technology includes a vacuum system that connects to an external pump (not included), enhancing solvent evaporation. The concentrator's rotor, while spinning, applies centrifugal force to prevent foaming or bumping, thereby avoiding sample loss, and ensuring optimal analyte recovery. This device is highly versatile, suitable for a range of applications such as concentrating DNA ethanol precipitates, protein hydrolysates, chromatography fractions, and samples for HPLC, GC/MS, immunoassay, and bioassay analysis. It's also used in organic chemistry for residue analysis, including pesticide and drug testing. The SC110 model is equipped with a built-in manual bleeder valve for precise control and features a chamber heater with three temperature settings: Ambient, 43°C, and 65°C, to counteract evaporative cooling and expedite the drying process. The SpeedVac SC110's construction is both durable and chemically resistant, featuring a vacuum chamber made from impregnated aluminum with a fluorocarbon coating and a transparent acrylic cover. It offers a rotor capacity of 64 x 1.5/2.0 ml and includes a 0.5 in. (1.27 cm) O.D. vacuum fitting for the external pump. This concentrator represents a blend of efficiency, reliability, and precision, making it an essential tool in various scientific and research applications. Please Note: An external vacuum pump is NOT INCLUDED and is REQUIRED FOR OPERATION.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
