The Talboys Standard Analog 4 Block Heater, Cat. # 949516 is designed for applications that require repeatable results and superior temperature stability. This multi-purpose unit is ideal for applications such as incubation and activation of cultures, enzyme reactions, immunoassays, melting/boiling points, and a wide variety of other laboratory procedures. The Talboys Standard Analog 4 Block Heater accepts interchangeable modular heat blocks, accommodating various tube sizes from 0.2ml to 50ml.
The Talboys Standard Analog 4 Block Heater, Cat. # 949516 has the ability to provide efficient heating due to close tube-to-block contact for maximum heat retention. This heater features an overall temperature range of Ambient +5C to 150C, with analog dials with markings from 1 to 10 for low and high temperature adjustments. The low range knob adjusts from Ambient to 100C, and the high range knob adjusts from 75C to 150C. This unit also features microprocessor control, offering a temperature stability as low as 2.0C, as well as a temperature uniformity as low as 0.1C.
