The Ohaus Frontier FC5306 Mini Centrifuge is an efficient tool designed for rapid and simple separation. This compact centrifuge features an 8-position rotor for 1.5/2.0 ml tubes. One of its key features is the tool-free, quick-release design, which allows for effortless installation and removal of rotors. It operates quietly and safely, making it ideal for everyday laboratory use. Another key feature is the quiet motor paired with a vibration-absorbing rubber base, ensuring minimal noise disruption. Safety is paramount with the Frontier FC5306, as it is equipped with multiple safety features such as a sturdy lid, safety switches that halt rotor operation if the lid opens, and an imbalance sensor that prevents operation under imbalanced conditions. This centrifuge stands out for its simplicity, and it begins rotation automatically upon lid closure, requiring no additional button presses, thus streamlining the sample separation process. The included rotor reaches a maximum speed of 6,000 RPM.
