New Brunswick Innova 3100 Reciprocal Shaking Water Bath
The New Brunswick Innova 3100 Reciprocal Shaking Water Bath provides precise temperature control. This automated water bath shaker is ideal for culturing a wide range of cell types at temperatures up to 80 C. Dependable operation is due in large part to the New Brunswick triple-eccentric counterbalanced drive. Larger-capacity than many water bath shakers, the Innova 3100 easily accommodates tubes and flasks up to 2 Liters. A temperature range of 5 C above ambient to 80 C provides for a wide range of laboratory work, using molecular and cell biology protocols. All of our equipment will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
The New Brunswick Innova 3100 Reciprocal Shaking Water Bath includes:
- > Stainless Steel Cover
- > Shaker Tray
- > Power Cord
- > Operator's Manual
- > Full 180 Day Parts and Labor Warranty

- Confirm power supply and PCB are outputting stable, correct voltages across all essential circuits to ensure reliable operation
- Inspect the display for any dim, flickering, or dead pixels, replacing any compromised sections to maintain full clarity and accurate readouts
- Verify that all buttons, knobs, and switches are functioning properly, providing precise and responsive control across all settings
- Conduct a thorough inspection of the water reservoir for any holes, rust, or other structural damage that may impact its integrity
- Fill the reservoir with water, checking closely for any external or internal leaks that could affect performance
- Examine the lid for any signs of wear or damage, replacing hinges and handles if necessary to ensure a secure and proper seal
- Inspect for any internal leaks originating from the water reservoir, confirming the unit’s internal plumbing integrity
- Conduct a comprehensive inspection of internal wiring for any breakages, tears, or wear; replace any underperforming or damaged components to maintain safe operation
- Examine internal insulation for signs of burns, breaks, or deterioration, replacing as needed to ensure thermal efficiency and safety
- Confirm that all feet are intact and that the bath sits level and balanced on a flat surface to prevent movement or instability
- Calibrate both temperature accuracy and uniformity using a NIST-traceable temperature probe, verifying compliance with specification standards
- Perform a detailed cosmetic inspection to confirm that all external surfaces and finishes meet aesthetic and quality standards
