The MJ Research PTC-200 Thermal Cycler Dual 48 utilizes interchangeable sample blocks and heat pump assemblies allow the user to change format easily between runs while retaining NIST-traceable accuracy. The PTC-200 has a dual 48-well alpha block, allowing two independent programs to be run at the same time, and can accommodate 60 well blocks, 96 well blocks, 384-well blocks, and many others, including specialty blocks like the insitu. The precise Peltier effect heat pumps deliver the full temperature range of 0 to 100C electronically, all in a compact, small-footprint instrument. The MJ Research PTC-200 offers speedy ramping rates of up to 3.0/sec in models that hold 0.2ml tubes or V-well plates. It also features unparalleled temperature homogeneity of 0.4C within 30 seconds of arrival at 60C for all standard models. The PTC-200 has a large memory and amiable software that allows control over virtually every thermal parameter.
