Invitrogen iBind Flex Western Device
The Invitrogen iBind Flex Western Device is an innovative benchtop solution designed to automate western blot processing, handling every step from blocking to antibody incubations with minimal user intervention. Using Sequential Lateral Flow (SLF) technology, the device ensures precise, consistent flow of solutions without requiring external power sources, shakers, or trays. SLF technology relies on mechanical pressure to release reagents from the device's wells onto iBind Flex Cards, where the solutions are wicked through a glass fiber matrix. This unique design enhances antigen-antibody interactions, ensuring uniform flow and highly reproducible results.
The iBind Flex Western Device significantly reduces hands-on time, requiring only minimal setup and delivering results in as little as 2.5 hours. By optimizing reagent use, it minimizes the need for primary antibodies while maintaining compatibility with various downstream detection protocols. The device includes three interchangeable well inserts, allowing users to process up to one midi blot, two mini blots, or six vertically-cut strip blots, making it versatile for diverse laboratory needs. Designed to work seamlessly with iBind Flex Solution Kits or iBind Flex Fluorescent Detection Kits, the iBind Flex Western System is an efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solution for western blot workflows.
Please Note: The iBind Flex Cards, iBind Fluorescent Detection (FD) Solution Kit, and iBind Flex Solution Kit are NOT included and are required for operation. The iBind Fluorescent Detection (FD) Solution Kit is required for Fluorescence detection protocols. The iBind Flex Solution Kit is required for chemiluminescent or chromogentic detection protocols.
