Hettich Rotina 420R Refrigerated Centrifuge, Cat. #: 4706-20
The Hettich Rotina 420R Refrigerated Centrifuge, Cat. #: 4706-20 is engineered for handling large volumes while maintaining a compact footprint, making it suitable for labs with significant sample throughput yet limited space. This versatile centrifuge has a maximum capacity to accommodate up to 4 x 600 ml, 140 blood collection tubes, or 16 microtiter plates, making it perfectly suited for demanding applications in clinical chemistry, biotechnology, and life science research. It achieves a maximum speed of 15,000 RPM and a maximum relative centrifugal force of 24,400 x g, ensuring efficient sample processing. Designed with user convenience in mind, the Rotina 420R features an ergonomic control panel that simplifies daily operations. It offers easy rotor changes, automatic lid locking, and 99 program storage spaces, enhancing its functionality and user-friendliness. The advanced C control panel allows for intuitive parameter selection using symbol keys, adjustments with a control knob, and easy program recording.
Safety features include motor and chamber overheating protection, emergency lid lock release, and imbalance switch-off, ensuring secure and reliable operations. Additional functionalities include infinitely variable temperature adjustments from -20°C to +40°C, stand-by cooling, lid locking and holding, lid drop protection, and automatic rotor recognition. This 4706-20 model also supports nitrogen flushing for centrifugation of reactive substances or those unstable in aerial oxygen, which can be monitored through a control system for oxygen concentration (not included). Please Note: A Rotor is NOT included with this centrifuge and is required for operation. This centrifuge also operates from 200-240V.All of our equipment is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
