The Heraeus Multifuge 3 L-R Refrigerated Centrifuge is a high throughput refrigerated centrifuge with a versatile range of rotors available, making this general purpose centrifuge sought after for many applications. The Multifuge 3 L-R features a maintenance-free brushless induction drive that offers state of the art technology and power, spinning more tubes, at higher RCF’s, more rapidly than competitive instruments. The SMARTspin Imbalance Detection System provides optimum run stability for all rotors at all speeds and allows for eye balancing of sample tubes. Automatic rotor recognition offers reliable protection against incorrect parameter settings and ensures reproducible run conditions. The Multifuge 3 L-R also offers precise temperature control from -9°C to 40°C to meet the demands of high speed, low temperature protocols. With higher speeds and great flexibility, the Multifuge 3 L-R is ideal for microbiology, pharmaceutical, clinical testing, biotechnology, and general lab use. The included rotor reaches a maximum speed of 4,600 RPM.
