Heidolph Hei-VAP Precision ML/G5 Rotary Evaporator System
The Heidolph Hei-VAP Precision ML/G5 Rotary Evaporator System is designed for the most demanding applications, requiring the finest integrated vacuum control capabilities. The Hei-VAP series of rotary evaporator systems all feature a stainless steel heating bath with 2 independent safety circuits, which can accommodate up to a 5 liter flask at a maximum temperature of 210°C. This configuration is equipped with the Motor Lift, allowing for precise height adjustment of the evaporating flask at a rather quick adjustment speed of 30 mm/second. With the Hei-VAP Precision Controller, the user has access to an extensive array of user-defined parameters on an easy-to-use 4.3" LCD display, making this rotary evaporator perfect for reproducible applications and fully automated processes in the laboratory. The Heidolph Hei-VAP Precision also features the use of a vapor temperature sensor, which displays the actual temperature right on the Hei-VAP Precision controller. (The AUTOAccurate sensor however is not included, and is only compatible with the G3 and G6 Glassware types).
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory
specifications before being shipped.

- Inspect all glassware for chips or cracks, reapplying vacuum grease to stopcocks to ensure a secure seal
- Examine displays, replacing any dim or dead pixels to maintain clear visibility
- Verify drive motor RPM using a tachometer for accurate rotational speed
- Confirm the ease of raising and lowering the tower, lubricating as needed for smooth operation
- Check the Woulff bottle for any leaks or structural breakages, ensuring airtight performance
- Disassemble and inspect the vacuum pump, cleaning and replacing seals or components as necessary
- Inspect internal wiring for each component, checking for any frays, cuts, or potential breakages
- Examine all hoses, hose barbs, and seals for signs of wear or leaks, ensuring integrity
- Inspect the vapor duct seal and replace if compromised to maintain vacuum efficiency
- Verify and calibrate the vacuum controller for accurate pressure regulation
- Confirm all hoses and cables are securely fastened to prevent disconnections or leaks
- Check heat bath temperatures against settings to ensure precise thermal control
- Confirm the final system vacuum level meets manufacturer specifications
- Ensure cosmetic condition meets standards, with no damage impacting function or appearance
