The Heidolph Hei-VAP Advantage HL/G5B Rotary Evaporator System is designed to meet the needs of routine distillation applications while ensuring reproducible results. This system integrates leading safety standards and features to enhance ease of use and reduce the total cost of ownership. Key features include a large, easy-to-read 3.5-inch digital LCD display that shows rotation speed, heating bath temperature, and vapor temperature (requires a vapor temperature sensor), allowing monitoring of all parameters even from a distance. The system also boasts an automatic process timer for setting the evaporator to turn off at a preprogrammed time, ensuring efficient operation. Its intelligent evaporation capabilities include overheat protection to prevent water baths from running dry, a detachable panel for ease of use outside closed fume hoods, and a proven vacuum seal and vapor tube system guaranteed for reliable operation over the years.
The evaporator supports a maximum flask size of 5L and offers a hand lift with a 155 mm height adjustment. The rotation speed ranges from 10 to 280 RPM, controlled digitally via the LCD display, powered by a brushless DC motor with electronic speed control. The accompanying Heidolph Hei-VAP Heating Bath has a 1,300W heating capacity, with a temperature range of 20°C to 210°C and an accuracy of ± 1°C. It features overheat protection that activates at 5°C above the set temperature, digital temperature control, and a secondary overtemperature cutoff at 250°C. The bath is made from durable stainless steel AISI 316L and can hold 4 to 5L. Completing the system is the Heidolph Rotavac Valve Tec Diaphragm Vacuum Pump, which offers a suction capacity of 0.9 m^3/h and achieves an ultimate vacuum of 12 mbar, complementing the rotary evaporator system's capabilities for precise and safe distillation processes.
