The GE AKTA Purifier 100 FPLC System is versatile, modular liquid chromatography systems for fast and reliable separations of proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids by FPLC. A KTA Purifier 100 is designed for purification of microgram to milligram quantities of protein, operating at flow rates of 0.001 to 10 ml/min at pressures of 0 to 25 MPa. The GE AKTA is in excellent condition and has passed all tests for full functionality. These tests included: linking the unit to the Unicorn 5.31 operating system, testing flow rate accuracy of P-900 Pump, testing PHC-900 Monitor with Nal test solution, testing pH/C-900 for functional communication with pH probe and Conductivity Cell, testing motor valves, and testing the Frac-920 for functionality through manual commands. - Install a new pH probe and verify the conductivity cell for accurate readings
- Calculate and adjust delay volume in software to reflect system configuration
- Clean or replace the drop sensor, accumulator wash, and height adjuster for consistent collection performance
