Diapragm Vacuum Pump

The Fisher Scientific PU1306 Maxima Dry Diaphragm Vacuum Pump features a compact benchtop design, with simple set up and disassembly, and no special tools required. It is a clean, very easy to use oil-free vacuum pump ideally used for high boiling point rotary evaporation and distillation, vacuum concentration, and larger vacuum ovens. The Fisher Scientific MaximaDry Oil-Free Vacuum Pump has the ability to be used with aggressive solvents, without the risk of damaging the pump. This is because the diaphragm and pump heads are coated and molded with PTFE (a soft, nontoxic fluoropolymer with little to no friction, so few materials stick to it). The high flow, multiport valves are made from tough FFPM fluoropolymer to withstand heavy solvent vapors and liquid condensate without loss in performance, and the fan cooled (TEFC) motor is rated for continuous operation and never requires lubrication. It is a quiet, reliable operation without the hazards of handling pump oil of contaminated water.
