The Eppendorf 5418R Refrigerated Centrifuge epitomizes efficiency and precision, tailored for the demanding environments of molecular biology and clinical applications. It boasts a robust capacity of 18 x 1.5/2.0 ml tubes, reaching maximum speeds of 14,000 RPM and achieving a remarkable maximum RCF of 16,873 x g. Its design is uniquely compact, offering a minimal footprint and low access height that make it ideal for laboratories constrained by space. Despite its power, the 5418R operates under a noise level of less than 57 dB(A), ensuring a non-disruptive, comfortable lab environment.
Further enhancing its user-friendly features, this centrifuge includes a soft-touch, one-finger lid closure and the Eppendorf QuickLock lid, which allows secure, effortless locking with just a quarter turn. Temperature control ranges from 0°C to 40°C, facilitated by a FastTemp function that swiftly cools the unit to the desired temperature. The centrifuge also supports environmental conservation with its ECO power shut-off feature, which reduces energy consumption by powering down the unit when not actively in use. Moreover, it offers flexible run times from 0.5 minutes to 99 minutes or indefinitely, accommodating a variety of protocols and user preferences.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
