Buchi R-114 Rotary Vap System

The Buchi R-114 Rotary Vap System is used for single-staged distillations at high speeds with low stress. The R-114 includes "CR" glassware and the Buchi B-480 Heating Bath. The digital heating bath can be adjusted from 20° to 180°C and has a volume of 5L. Modular construction makes it possible to configure units with different glassware assemblies.

With help from the V-500 pump, the R-114 is capable of reaching low vacuum levels in minutes. The V-500 allows for a final vacuum of less than 15 mbar, and pumping volume of 1.6 meters cubed per hour. An onboard multifunctional valve unit allows for precise vacuum control along with irregular vacuum source containment. Modular construction allows for ultimate versatility, making it possible to configure units with a variety different glassware assemblies.
