Branson 250 Digital Sonifier w/ Probe
The Branson 250 Digital Sonifier is a versatile laboratory unit, suitable for a broad range of liquid processing applications. The Branson 250 is ideal for cell disruption, nano particles, chip assay, emulsification, homogenization, cell lysing, processing DNA and proteins, acceleration of reactions, leaching and extraction, and fine mixing degassing.
The Branson 250 converts AC line voltage to 20kHz electrical energy. This high-frequency electrical energy is fed to a converter where it is converted to mechanical vibrations. The digital controls on the digital sonifier allow for accuracy and repeatability of control settings. The Branson 250 also utilizes multiple modes of operation, including
continuous, pulsed, timed, and temperature end-point.
