BioRad MJ Mini Thermal Cycler
The BioRad MJ Mini Thermal Cycler offers
premium thermal cycling in a thermal range of 0-99.9˚C with an accuracy of ±0.2˚C.
The MJ Mini can hold 48 x 0.2ml tubes, 12 x 0.5ml tubes, or one 48 well microplate with the added ability to program (up to 400 typical programs) and maintain a 16 ˚C gradient. The integrated Hot Bonnet heated lid creates oil-free thermal cycling while the space saving design makes it easy to integrate into any lab space.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.

- Validate that the power supply and PCB consistently deliver accurate, stable voltages across all circuits and connections, confirming operational reliability
- Thoroughly inspect the display for any dim, flickering, or dead pixels, replacing compromised segments to ensure clear visibility and precise data display
- Verify complete functionality and responsiveness of all buttons and knobs, confirming accurate and reliable input across all controls
- Ensure the machine completes all internal diagnostic checks with zero errors, indicating system readiness and functional integrity
- Confirm the machine accurately identifies attached blocks (96-well, dual 48, etc.), with seamless recognition across different configurations
- Conduct a detailed inspection of internal wiring and all electrical connections, checking for any signs of breaks, disconnections, or tears; replace or repair any underperforming components
- Examine the connector between the block and base for bent or broken pins, replacing as needed to maintain secure, reliable connections
- Calibrate well temperatures with a NIST-traceable thermometer, verifying accuracy and uniformity across all wells to meet specification standards
- Perform a comprehensive cosmetic inspection, ensuring all exterior surfaces and components are free of damage, wear, or defects, maintaining aesthetic and professional quality
