Benchmark MultiTherm Heating Shaker w/ 50ml Block
The Benchmark MultiTherm Heating Shaker w/ 50ml Block is a temperature controlled vortexer that features a temperature range of Ambient +5°C to 100°C and a speed range of 200 to 1,500 RPM (200 to 750 RPM with included block). Despite its modest 8 x 11 inch footprint, all popular tubes and plates are compatible when in use with the appropriate block, including as many as six 50ml tubes. Speed, time, and temperature settings are continuously visible on the LCD display screen, simultaneously showing both actual and selected values. Integral over-temperature control is featured and ensures long life, safety, and sample integrity. The Benchmark MultiTherm Heating Shaker is useful for a variety of molecular biology applications including denaturation of DNA, RNA, and proteins, lipid extractions, yeast and bacteria cultivation, restriction digests, reverse transcription, and more.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory specifications before being shipped.
The Benchmark MultiTherm Heating Shaker w/ 50ml Block includes:
- > 6 x 50ml Block
- > Power Cord
- > Operator's Manual
- > Full 180 Day Parts and Labor Warranty

|
- Confirm stability and accuracy of power supply and PCB voltage outputs
- Inspect display integrity, ensuring pixel clarity and replacing any degraded or non-functional elements
- Verify complete functionality and responsiveness of all control buttons, switches, and knobs
- Conduct thorough inspection of internal wiring and all electrical connections for continuity; replace or secure any degraded or substandard components
- Examine block holder platform for alignment, obstructions, or error-inducing irregularities
- Perform detailed inspection of motor bearings, assessing for wear or misalignment, and replace if performance deviates from specifications
- Calibrate rotational speed precisely using a NIST-traceable tachometer for compliance with operational standards
- Calibrate temperature accuracy using a NIST-traceable temperature probe, validating readings across the operational range
- Ensure timer precision by validating functionality and consistency against set parameters
- Conduct a comprehensive cosmetic inspection, verifying all surfaces and external components meet quality standards
