Agilent 1260 Infinity II LC System
The Agilent 1260 Infinity II LC System provides a liquid chromatograph offering ultra fast and high resolution separation capability for consistently accurate results. The 1260 Infinity II LC System delivers several ease-of-use features, making it a standard system for routine analysis. With an operating pressure of up to 600 bar, the 1260 Infinity II Binary Pump is suitable for multiple LC applications, handling columns over the flow rate range of up to 5 ml/min. The 1260 Infinity II Multisampler can handle both vials and microtiter plates with ease and efficiency, and is designed for low carryover, as you can take clean to a whole new level with the multi-wash capability, cleaning all relevant injection parts between runs. This integrated feature flushes the injection needle outside with three solvents, and uses seat back flush procedures to reduce carryover to less than 9 ppm.
The 1260 Infinity II Diode-Array Detector WR features a 120 Hz data acquisition rate, perfectly suited for fast LC applications. This DAD WR detector is equipped with long-life deuterium lamps, which allow for the highest sensitivity and lowest detection limits over a wavelength range of 190-950 nm. The Agilent 1260 Infinity II LC System also allows for superior temperature control, with a range of 4°C (minimum of 20°C below ambient) to 110°C on certain columns, allowing for selectivity flexibility and reduces solvent viscosity to allow even faster separation. The 1260 Infinity II LC System is also equipped with the G1770A Universal Valve Drive, which enable users to adjust the system based on their application's needs with the simple change of an Agilent Quick Change Valve Head. Included is the G4235A Bioinert 12 Position / 13 Port Solvent Selection Valve Head for the selection or fractionation of solvents.
The Agilent 1260 Infinity II LC System can be fully controlled from the Agilent MassHunter Workstation Software, which allows for user-friendly operation in data acquisition, analysis, instrument control, automation, and more.
This Agilent system is in excellent condition and will be fully tested to perform at factory
specifications before being shipped.

Below is a List of Diagnostic Tests Performed On This System
- Filter Test: The test moves the filter into the light path and measures the relative absorbance in the filter position.
- Dark Current Test: The test measures the dark current from the detector optic.
- Holmium Oxide Test: The test measures the Holmium spectrum from the built-in Holmium filter. The spectrum is evaluated for peaks at different wavelengths.
- Lamp Intensity Test: The test verifies functionality of the UV lamp at various wavelengths.
- Wavelength Intensity Test: The test confirms the accuracy of wavelengths measured.
- Baseline Noise Test: The test measures the amount of baseline noise drift identified by the detector.
- Pressure Test: The pressure test is a quick, built-in test designed to demonstrate the pressure tightness (up to 400 bar) of the system.
- Leak Test: The leak test is a built-in troubleshooting designed to demonstrate the leak-tightness of the pump.
- Thermostat Test: Evaluates the cooling and heating performance of the two Peltier elements.
- Injector Steps: Performs each movement of the sampling sequence under manual control. This is useful for confirming autosampler functionality.
- 4 Peak Test (Isocratic Standard): Standard test published by Agilent to confirm complete functionality of the 1260 Infinity II LC System.
