The Agilent 1200 HPLC G1321A FLD Detector is engineered for superior optical performance, GLP compliance, and streamlined maintenance. This multi-signal fluorescence detector features rapid online scanning and detailed spectral data analysis capabilities. Key highlights include a high-intensity flash lamp to achieve the lowest detection limits and a multi-wavelength mode that allows for on-the-fly spectral acquisition and simultaneous signal detection. Users can benefit from the optional cuvette for off-line measurements, easy access to the flow cell for quick replacements, and built-in wavelength accuracy verification tools.
Performance is robust, with specifications including a detection limit of 10 fg for Anthracene with excitation at 250 nm and emission at 400 nm. The system operates using a Xenon Flash Lamp with a normal output of 20 W and an economy mode of 5 W, with pulse frequencies adjusted according to the mode selected. Both excitation and emission monochromators cover a wide wavelength range and are equipped with fixed 20 nm bandwidth concave holographic gratings.
The detector supports up to four signal wavelengths, adjustable PMT gain, and flexible baseline behaviors in its timetable programming features. For data management, it utilizes Agilent’s ChemStation software or can be controlled via the Agilent Instant Pilot G4208A or Control Module G1323B, offering limited spectral data analysis and spectrum printing capabilities. Connection options include CAN, GPIB, RS-232C, LAN, and APG Remote for easy integration into existing systems.
