Thermo Sorvall Legend T Plus Benchtop Centrifuge
Maximum Capacity
4 x 750 ml
- SMARTspin™ imbalance detection system, effective based on rotor and speed.
- Automatic rotor recognition ensures safe and optimal operation with different rotors.
- Microprocessor-based control provides precise control over centrifugation parameters.
- EASYset soft-touch keypad facilitates one-touch control of speed, programming, and pre-cooling functions.
- Quick run key activates maximum acceleration to the maximum permissible speed of the rotor; centrifuge stops with maximum deceleration upon key release.
- 9 acceleration and 9 deceleration profiles offer customization for various sample types and requirements.
The Thermo Sorvall Legend T+ Benchtop Centrifuge is a versatile,
high-capacity centrifuge featuring electronic imbalance detection with optimum
run stability, automatic rotor recognition, and microprocessor-based control.
This Sorvall centrifuge can accommodate nine different swinging-bucket rotor
configurations and seven different fixed-angle rotors, making it extremely
flexible for high throughput. The Legend T+'s low deck allows for easy loading and
unloading of samples while the EASYset soft-touch keypad allows for one-touch
control of speed, programming and pre-cooling functions.
This rotor reaches a maximum speed of 4,150 RPM.
The Legend T+ is best used for large capacity assays,
including tissue culture, vaccination development, DNA preparation, and protein
research, among others.
All of our equipment is fully tested to perform at factory
specifications before being shipped.
Please confirm this rotor meets your application needs and request a different rotor, if necessary. Available rotors can be found in our Rotor Compatibility Guide.
