The Buchi Rotavapor R-200 system has the ability to process
samples ranging in size from 50 mL to 3 liters and has a relatively small
footprint for just about any laboratory workspace. With a two piece cold trap condenser
the Buchi Rotavapor R-200 system is perfect for low boiling solvents. This rotavapor system also features an internal motorized hydraulic mechanism to
assist users with the raising and lowering of samples and compounds. A digital display
exhibits all necessary data to the user at all times with sharp visibility.

- Inspect all glassware for chips or cracks, reapplying vacuum grease to stopcocks to ensure a secure seal
- Examine displays, replacing any dim or dead pixels to maintain clear visibility
- Verify drive motor RPM using a tachometer for accurate rotational speed
- Confirm the ease of raising and lowering the tower, lubricating as needed for smooth operation
- Check the Woulff bottle for any leaks or structural breakages, ensuring airtight performance
- Disassemble and inspect the vacuum pump, cleaning and replacing seals or components as necessary
- Inspect internal wiring for each component, checking for any frays, cuts, or potential breakages
- Examine all hoses, hose barbs, and seals for signs of wear or leaks, ensuring integrity
- Inspect the vapor duct seal and replace if compromised to maintain vacuum efficiency
- Verify and calibrate the vacuum controller for accurate pressure regulation
- Confirm all hoses and cables are securely fastened to prevent disconnections or leaks
- Check heat bath temperatures against settings to ensure precise thermal control
- Confirm the final system vacuum level meets manufacturer specifications
